wayned
Does anybody have a reliable contact, preferably e-mail for them. They took the ASN contract from True and I want to see what is required before the new NFL football season starts in August. I know that the GMM Z box is available from many sources but have not been able to find any information on channelization and future cost to view encrypted channels. I don't believe that it will be "free" forever and at sometime, July I've heard, they will start charging for the service. I have a c-band antenna, 6"dish pointed to the correct satellite, with a unused port on on the LNB, and know that I can purchase a GMM Z set top box and connect it, but what about future costs? Does anybody know or have a contact that will answer?
redsox44
It remains a "TRUE" mystery. I like U am waiting to see what charges are to be made before diving into GMMZ just to watch the NFL.

WorldTraveler
GMM customer service told me last week that they planned to offer two pay packages. The combined package with premium entertainment and sports channels (9 channels altogether) was going to cost 450 baht per month with sign up and payments being handled at 7-11, Big C, and a few other retailers. I think if you only want the sport channels, including ASN, the cost is about 300 baht for 4-5 sport channels.
wayned
How did you speak with customer support? Their number 02 241 8888 is all in Thai and the operator on the switchboard at 02 669 9050 speaks no English. If they are going to start charging now after they've already marketed the set top box it sounds like the old "bait and switch" routine. Sell the box and after it has been used for free for a while, charge for the premium channels. Why should I be surprised!
