Doi Thong
I'm spending about 12 % of my monthly income on accomodation, is it a good figure? Just wanted to hear other members numbers and explanations. Thanks for the input.
Drew Aitch
I'm spending about 12 % of my monthly income on accomodation, is it a good figure? Just wanted to hear other members numbers and explanations. Thanks for the input. Average for me over the past couple of years has been 33%. This figure could have been halved if I was living alone and didn't need quite so much space from an apartment. Aitch

Doi Thong
So from what I see Chiangmai and Koenkaen is a great places to save on accomodation. Bkk is not so easy, especially if you want to live in decent place.

Florin
10% of income. I'm very lucky to have a decent room in my university that comes with free high-speed Internet and only costs 2000B for rent, 500B for a weekly (shoddy) cleaning & bedchange service and 1000B (yeah, I know, quite pricey, but I do keep 2 computers, fridge, aircon & many chargers for things) for electricity.
