Iif you are Thai then I'm sure you're already aware, that to the extent you are successful and actually achieve anything important in such endeavors, your life will be in a corresponding degree of danger. Whereas an ecologist would see that no matter how small is a cog, how tiny, and fiddly, and infuriatingly difficult to place in its proper location, every part has a role to play, and without it, the whole system would grind to a halt. Sorry, that would be a watchmender. But the principle is the same, and to rank one member of the team above another is divisive and unhelpful. I see more faults in my own species than any other in existence! We make the best we can of our lot in life. And probably, depending on where we stand in the food chain, our outlook on life changes. I am sure there are millions of cockroaches who look down on ants, thinking, "Well, at least I'm an individual", and still more ants who look down on cockroaches, thinking "shit-eating anarchists; at least I can hold down a job". I think you were quite unequivocal that you ranked ants below human beings, and implicitly claimed this was justified by buddhest teachings. I suppose truth and falsehood might be considered equal as well, but until you try to see through the lies that you tell yourself, you will always be the victim of cruel and pernicious deception SC That'stopKilkenny, bytheway, Cowboy.
