Tukcom Sucks If Need Mid/High-End Computer Parts

And I just want a shop selling new Harleys w/ no import tax. So? You've missed the point, not surprisingly. It isn't wrong to want something ridiculous, but it's merely fanciful and certainly silly to complain about it, esp. on a public forum.

OP has no problem w/ BKK shops, but here he's come to a small Third World resort city known only for bars, beach, and babes, hardly Palo Alto, and complains 'cause he can't find waterblocks etc. It SUCKS. Really.

Well one would only think that when there is a 5 story building that calls itself the biggest IT shopping center of the East, that it would have some specialised shops, NOT?

By the way the comparison with the harleys with no import tax is the most rediculous one I have ever read, since what the OP is looking for is not something illegal and is easily available elsewhere.

I thought, the biggest IT-Mall would be the one on Pattaya Klang?

Many, many giant advertising boards around, that claim exactly this....tongue.png

I personally think, the best one is Zeer Rangsit.

No parking problems and virtually everything you need.

No, only someone Fresh Off The Boat would think so based on some hyperbolic advertisement. Esp. in Thailand. Still, it happens that Tukcom does have computer shops with plenty enough stuff to satisfy the needs, if not always the wants, of 99.9% of the users living in the Pattaya area. They wouldn't find it profitable to go after that other .1% and shouldn't be expected to in this small resort city.

Besides, by IT Thais can just mean mobile phones. smile.png Always charming, Thais.

One fantasy is as good as another, pal--which is my point. And if the something is easily available elsewhere--as it in fact IS, as I've already pointed out--then again the OP has a silly complaint. I don't, BTW.

How could you miss the Sony and Apple shops on the ground floor. How much more high end do you need to go?

Macs are good, but the PC options are pretty bad.
