Blackandwhite
My wife ( Thai ) and my daughter 2 years old are due to visit Thailand in April for six weeks. Going to stay in our bungalow in Biriram - Is it classed as safe to visit or is it best to put the trip off. What do you think ? Advice please: I do understand that this at the end of the day is a personal decision to anybody who want to go.

Spellbound
Check you travel insurance, if the UK goverment has advised against travel to Thailand and other parts of asia you aint going to be covered.
pal78
Does anybody remember when they had bird flu in Holland last year and a vet or two got it and died? It didn't last that long, and it didn't get that much press: Nice and calm article Vet dies of avian flu in Holland Or Hong Kong: Hong Kong bird flu in 1997 But to look at some of the posts on thaivisa and to watch the news here in Europe you would think the world was going to end and we were all going to die of bird flu. I'm going to Thailand at the end of Feb. I went to Thailand last year on an empty plane because everyone was scared of SARS. I am not saying that I would kiss a live chicken even if it had a snotty nose though.
