Avast! Security Report

Featured Replies

I've been a long time user of Avast and very happy with it. Just got a pop up message today I've not seen before for a 30 day individual security report, apparantely updates every 30 days now. Interesting statistics.

Avast is good choice. I also like the 30 day report thumbsup.gif

I'm still on Avast 6 since I found Avast 7 was too buggy and intrusive with too many unecessary 'bells and whitles'. In comparison, v. 6 seems to just sit quietly in the background doing its job. Am still able to update the definitions so hopefully am ok.

Did anyone else have problems with v. 7 or have Avast ironed out the bugs now?

I've been running 7 (7.0.1426) since it's release with no issues. Seems initially a few more popups than usual when I did the initial engine update but they've stopped.
