I am trying to locate a shop that sells good quality hiking boots. I probably also need to upgrade my sleeping bag so if the store also sold outdoor gear that would be a plus. Can anyone recommend a shop in the Bangkok area? Thanks.

Quite a few choices actually. Try SuperSports. In many of the big malls. Also, NorthFace has a store here....Google it for the location. I think Colombia has one also.

Went to Central World a few weeks ago. Quite a few shops in there selling good quality boots and gear. I'm sure there's stores in the other malls nearby also.

The Mall department store has all the brands mentioned, located at Bang PO mall I think, passed through there yesterday.
