GentlemanJim
Will she pay what LOS owes the Germans for work done on Bangkok highways. Exactly! I do hope Angela Merkel refuses to let her out of the country until Thailand fronts up the 42 million $ or so that is owed! I hope the company owners well the bankruptcy administrators actually ( it was forced into administration over this?) slap a law suit on her. I bet anything you like they are waiting at the airport for her. The money was owed 20 years ago and an otherwise healthy company went belly up because of Thai corruption. More info, remember this from exactly a year ago? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/thailand/8636573/Thailands-Crown-Prince-has-plane-impounded-in-Germany.html Edited July 17, 2012 by GentlemanJim
h90
No time for Berlusconi? I think with Berlusconi, she would have got some real good deals. Free Trade Agreement with Italy, should be agreed over night. But if she will be so popular with Ossi-Angelika? I doubt it.

And in Germany COURTS make such decisions not the Angelika Merkel.

americaninbangkok
Something important to Thailand being discussed in parliament in the next few days, that requires her to be out of the country ?????? As Sarah Palin would say: "you betcha!" Come to think of it... isn't Yingluck about in the same IQ league as Sarah Palin?

Difficult to discuss future trade and construction co-operation when you are still owed 42 million from 20 years ago.

philw
Will she pay what LOS owes the Germans for work done on Bangkok highways. Ask the owner of the 737.................. It's flying again, so the German courts and liquidators are legally satisfied. Pity that the German insolvency receiver, who was just doing his job, was blacklisted from Thailand by the gov't in power at the time. Freedom loving Mark.
