Nah, just disappointed that she isn't visiting parliament often enough.

Will she pay what LOS owes the Germans for work done on Bangkok highways. whistling.gif

Exactly! I do hope Angela Merkel refuses to let her out of the country until Thailand fronts up the 42 million $ or so that is owed! I hope the company owners well the bankruptcy administrators actually ( it was forced into administration over this?) slap a law suit on her. I bet anything you like they are waiting at the airport for her. The money was owed 20 years ago and an otherwise healthy company went belly up because of Thai corruption.

More info, remember this from exactly a year ago?

No time for Berlusconi?

I think with Berlusconi, she would have got some real good deals.

Free Trade Agreement with Italy, should be agreed over night.

But if she will be so popular with Ossi-Angelika? I doubt it.

No she can't do that, because she is the PM. And in Germany COURTS make such decisions not the Angelika Merkel.

The PM being going shopping in EU is not a problem. DPM Chalerm can take care of things.

Yeah... like having a coup.

As opposed to unofficially?

As opposed to "stupidly".

Something important to Thailand being discussed in parliament in the next few days, that requires her to be out of the country ??????

As Sarah Palin would say: "you betcha!"

Come to think of it... isn't Yingluck about in the same IQ league as Sarah Palin?

More likely she will have to apologise on behalf of Abhisits government whose chief clown Kasit wrongly accused the German Government of impounding the jet and then spouted off to newspapers about it. He even banned the Insolvency Manager acting for the firm from entering Thailand. Stupid little man.

An interesting take on the Thai Media reaction, particularly The Nation is here

I think Merkel will forgo the apology for the $42 million that is owed. Difficult to discuss future trade and construction co-operation when you are still owed 42 million from 20 years ago.

You guys really need to pay more attention to things, like parliamentary sessions and when they start or finish.

The parliament in Thailand is currently not in session. Next session start on the 1st of August. Now write that down on the palm of your hand of preference whistling.gif

Whats that got to do with LOS's unpaid BIG bills. OR, has it been paid but not reached the Germans. whistling.gif

Ask the owner of the 737..................

It's flying again, so the German courts and liquidators are legally satisfied.

Pity that the German insolvency receiver, who was just doing his job, was blacklisted from Thailand by the gov't in power at the time.

Freedom loving Mark.
