Pattaya Police arrest two men who fail to stop at South Pattaya Police Checkpoint

PATTAYA:--Two men who threatened Police with a gun were arrested on Monday afternoon after they failed to stop at a Police Checkpoint.

The two men, Khun Suriyar aged 39 and Khun Yod aged 38 were taken to Pattaya Police Station along with the gun, which was determined to be a BB Gun and other items they were carrying including a set of bolt croppers. The two men were ordered to pull over at the checkpoint located in Soi Khopai in South Pattaya. They failed to stop and were followed by Police and Police Volunteers who were threatened by Khun Yod with the gun.

Police were undeterred and continued the chase and eventually forced the pair to stop in the Na-Jomtien area, only meters away from the local Police Station.
