Dhl Passport Delivery

Featured Replies

Just found out that my passport has been sat here in the condo office for a month (well I hope it is, i'll find out in the morning). After getting worried (7 wks wait) I contacted Careline ( who I have to say were fantastic - and i didn't have to pay biggrin.png ) who informed me it had been sent last month and signed for by someone called Komin. ermm.gif

No phone call, nothing, just dropped off! Seems a bit slack to me. Called the office who said it was normal at condo's, hotels etc. and that the driver wouldn't have known it was a passport. Oh well, that's ok then I guess.

Anyone had any similar exp., know if this is indeed the case here?

Thanks.

From the FCO website it says that you have to collect it from DHL with Photo ID.

Mine was also "just delivered".

As they do not send you a tracking number when they send you the new passport it is hard to know what to do.

The entire new system of sending passport renewal applications off to Germany or Hong Kong and just waiting is an absolute disgrace. If you write and tell them they will inform you that the system will change to an online application system with tracking in the future.

With VFS dealing with visa paperwork for the UK now and passport application having to be sent via DHL.

What do the embassies actually do now?
