And now we are back to the pointless argument of 'well you man did this so its ok for my man to do this blah blah blah', it really is one of the most pathetic arguments used on this forum, it is up there with 'if you don't like it go home' and 'you are not in kansas anymore dorothy'.

So, any info on alleged irregularities regarding k. Abhisit's military service or lack thereof ? Maybe wait for the Ombudsman?

Only the evidence of the military that says he did not have the correct paperwork to miss military service, a pretty strong argument because if anyone has this paperwork it should be the army.

Why wait for the Ombudsman, they ruled recently on Yinglucks meeting at the four seasons but that has gone ignored by the forum yellows, so we can also say if abhisit is found by the ombudsman to have legally skipped military service then the ombudsman is wrong then keep making petty jokes about it regarding sex issues etc etc etc.

Deal?

Under those assumptions and conditions no deal, old chap.

Read the OP (again) first with the Def. Min. deciding not to publicly disclose and the MoD Sukampol just mentioning as far as he knew a conscription officer had been discharged for being involved in allegedly falsifying Abhisit's military records so he could be appointed as lecturer at the Royal Chulachomklao Military Academy. Aparr from Pheu Thai meddling as well.

I can only say 'insufficient data', wait for the Ombudsman

go back.

It was already adjudicated and decided on way back at Post # 4.

And I refer you to me recent post regarding the ombudsman.

my guess however will be that this is all a re run of the citizenship issue where he denies and denies until it is proven. All he has to do in this matter is produce the relevant paperwork and it will all go just simply go away.

What is the Phua Thai meddling you refer to? Do you mean raising it as an issue? is that classed a meddling now?

My dear chap, you're somewhat obtuse now.

Your opinion on how a statement of the Ombudsman in this case will be received has no relation with the case, nor with the (lack of) data publicly available at this moment. Your guess is founded on what you think, I don't guess but wait for more data.

As to PT meddling the OP had "Once tensions started rising in relation to the reconciliation and charter change bills, Pheu Thai Party's legal team decided to file a complaint in May requesting a new round of investigation." Of course this may also be 'just alleged', 'yellow-shirts insinuation', 'sloppish theNation reporting', or even be true wink.png

'adjudicated'? Jeez, where's my dictionary?

Well never mind as long as it doesn't mean I have to sleep with JurgenG on that bed in the doghouse ... whistling.gif

So Abhisit may have avoided the draft but the PTP leader avoided paying billions in taxes which would have benefitted his poor supporters. He is also avoiding a prison sentence and a load of other charges.

Who has committed the worst offences? Reds and gov. supporters please reply.please reply.

tired boring old argument, one does not mean the other is acceptable.

We could ask which is worse, sending in the army to slaughter unarmed civilians or some pilfering from the public purse.

the fact is people are constantly saying abhisit is honest but now his deceit is coming out again, first it was his dual nationality and now this. next evidence will appear that he did give the orders in 2010.

I have seen NO evidence of this accusation or on the other non event of UK citizenship. Just accusations and rethoric.

Maybe you should ask how many of the over 2500 thai citizens that were slaughtered by the police in Thaksins 6 month war on drugs were actually involved in drugs.

I thought he admitted in parliament that he held two passports.

I believe I'll wait to to see if he is found guilty by any court of law before I accept "his deceit". So far the only "evidence" I am aware of seems to be rumour and heresay.

I think the Defence Ministry may be acting or orders to suppress the Abhisit information as there are too many people in the same boat. Politicians would be suing, impeaching and banning each other for years to come.

These political threads have amused me for a long time now. I think most of the contributors are expats and I wonder if they would spend as much time posting on political forums in their respective home countries.

However, I would love to witness a debate between Jatuporn and Abhisit ( and possibly Geriatrickid backing up Jatuporn). Wouldn't take long before Jatuporn started his senseless haranguing and trying to bully which are his his trademarks, and unfortunately what his Red Shirt supporters like.

We all Thais guard our Sor Dor 9 with our life as we know it is needed to apply for any job in Thailand; may it be a govt job or private job.

How could he has lost his Sor Dor 9 paper, twice. The real one, and even a duplicated one? A very simple and straight forward question that he couldn't answer at all.
