battersea
Hello All ! I will be moving to Thailand in October and would like to ship some of my stuff to Nong Khai.. I have about 2 or 3 tea-chests worth ..mainly papers, cd's ,books and clothes... Can anyone recommend a good way to transport it all ? I have no idea of who to use but I know there is no rush ....I can send it by boat if cheaper... Any recommendations or ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Rsquared
For starters...........you have neglected to tell us from which country you intend to ship from. Simply searching the internet will give you many companies that should full-fill your requirements. Good luck.

JohnC
When I left athe Uk a few years ago I just googled for shipping companies then emailed them for a quote , I had one sea chest and the only restriction was the weight . It was collected from my home and arrived in Thailand as air cargo a week or two later, the cost was around £100 then. The only downside was an agent wanted 10,000 baht to deliver to Pattaya so I drove up to the old airport and collected it! It is also possible to use sea freight which should be cheaper but can take months to arrive. Edited July 22, 2012 by JohnC
Shaktam
Google a company called seven seas worldwide, I've just sent some things from aus and this company was the cheapest. Door to door service also.
