It could be a lot of different companys ....... You could have that number and transfer companys and keep it. 083 does not designate a certian company it's just what came after 081 082

I believe the 083 series of numbers were originally allocated to TrueMove, but as said, with number portability a particular number could be registered with any provider.

Service providers here purchased blocks of number by the 100,000 increment. Originally there were records of which companies purchased which blocks, and even websites with reverse look-up capabilities. Obviously with the introduction of mobile number portability it may be challenging to determine the current service provider associated with a particular number.
