Unsolicited Content From A Gary Orman

I have, this morning, received what must be spam , as I didn't request it, an email from Gary Orman hustling his language program.

Anyone else on TV receive such an email??

I got one. But I hit that delete button on my keyboard. To be honest, it's quite well targeted. Made a nice change from the usual spam.

He got your email from somewhere, so you've probably tried his sample course or left your email on a classified ad somewhere or something.

Anyway, mine had an opt out link on it as I recall, so it's simple enough to stop this 1second intrusion on your time.

Don't know the technical terms but my hot mail allows me to block all mail from that address. have noticed that over a period offf time they stop coming. apparently they do not have a unlimited amount of email addresses

I can remember , from several months back, if this is the same guy, the chucking and jiving , the denials, the , lets say conflicting statements that he made, all went to give me a lot less than favorable opinion of him and his program.

I seemed to recall one poster saying something to the effect that he would be a bit crazy to expect anyone who reads TV , to partake of any of his programs, after all the hubbub of those postings. His varied response and retorts categorized him, in my mind, as a person not to be favorably liked or want to do business with. Just seeing the email, brought back those feelings......

So I shall un-subscribe and wish him all the best his efforts shall earn as his just rewards.

I was always taught never to use the unsubscribe button on junk/spam mail as all this does is confirm/add to his database that the address on the unsubscribe link is valid and he can then sell that address on as such and you get even more junk/spam mail!

Obviously it is OK to use the unsubscibe button on a legit site that you have used, but no longer want, as they have your address anyway.

I may be wrong but I am sure there is an IT guy around who can confirm or otherwise.

For what it's worth, the mnemonic system he uses is tried and tested and is very good. His marketing may not be, nor may his responses, but from what I've seen of this course, it's actually one of the best. Albeit expensive with naughty spam.

Im not sure why people take offense to the email though. The last thread on this seems like mob mentality backing the guy into a corner to defend himself. Same as anyone.

If you don't want another email to your inbox, unsubscribe... Why try to diss the guy? It actually seems like a good course for those interested. For those not interested, then suck it up and don't waste 10 minutes moaning about an email that would take you 1 second to ignore.

PS.... I have no idea who this guy is, but I think the mob mentality on this forum can be a bit much sometimes.

I clearly was talking about the last thread on the subject. Re read my post.

You chimed in on your Gonzo.login on the last thread. So why bring it all up again with your sponsor login? There's an unsubscribe link on his emails, and Thaivisa at the end of the last thread stated that in no way did he get the email addresses from them, so you yourself have supplied it to someone, and as such you receive spam, in this case very targeted and close to home.

As a sponsor, are you trying to suggest that Thaivisa are selling or giving away members details? By bringing it up a second time, that would appear your intention.... Or what is it? You really don't get spam from anywhere else? Who is your email provider?

To make it clear, in the last thread and even this, there is a subtext that only TV members have been targeted. Without that subtext both are simply threads about spam or advertising emails.

Then this morning,more spam from him-unbelievable!

He even spammed my pm box last time as well-or at least his alter ego did!
