Weekend Of The 4Th And 5Th.....Closed?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

The weekend of the 4th and 5th is a 4 day weekend with Thursday the 2nd and Friday the 3rd being official holidays too. Now it happens to be my birthday next week so I was wondering are and if so when are bars closed or not selling alcohol. Any ideas?

Thanks

YoungBrit

Should only be closed 2 and 3rd which are the Buddhist holidays. 3rd is Kao Phansa; the start of Buddhist lent, from what I've seen in past years Thais take this event very seriously so expect most stuff to be closed (many Thai restaurants too). Some places may still be closed Saturday, if the staff go back home etc, though I'd expect most Farang orientated places to be open.
