Learn Thai From Playing And Singing Thai Songs

Featured Replies

H,i I've actually been in Thailand twice for a total of 4 months.SomeThai's believe I've lived in Thailand for many years. My point is I love to try to play and carry a tune on my guitar.I'm not good by no means, mostly a closet player for many many years. But I got fixed on sad love songs for obvious reasons ..So I picked a thai song from Youtube that I liked and then I googled the same song with subtitles there are a lot of English sub titles to these songs. So I learn the chords then learn the Thai pronouciations.mostly through the sub titles. Then I through one of the translation sites to look at the meaning of the words . I can understand some conversations, like any language you understand first because you pick up some of the words and thats when the jist of the sentences start to make sense. The very hard part are the tones. I just play it by ear(lol).Just a thought . IMOP
