Schmackos Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 Oz on Foot Andrew "cad" Cadigan in June finished his epic solo walk from Sydney back to Sydney in honour of his mate Simmo who passed away from complications related to myelodysplasia. He walked unassisted via Tasmania, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, and Brisbane. One man, One pram, two feet and a heartbeat! Already over $25,000 raised for The Cancer Council and almost $40,000 for the Leukemia Foundation. Sadly, while holidaying and recuperating in Thailand, Andrew suffered terrible head injuries in a motor cycle accident less than a month after completing his walking trek and remains in a coma in hospital.
