Are there many farangs in the vicinity? Much of a social scene?

Ive been connected to Phe since 96 but tend to just hang out with family when we visit. Add to the fact that some of the farangs I have met (and there are few) are a bit weird to say the least. One chap literally turns his back when he sees me and ignores the 'Good mornings' which I ALWAYS offer. He's got a nice ski though smile.png

I hope I am not one of the weird ones. First visited Ban Phe in 1998. I have been living here full time for four years.
