Hogans heroes starred a guy called Werner Klemper who was a Jew. His character in the show was Colonel Klink. When asked to play a member of the Nazi party, Klemper told em "sure as long as I can ridicule the Nazis I'll do it" Hoooooogan!!

And this from America's got talent

Because of the blue moon that tripped a memory and I found these.

The oldies are still the best.

If you are talking about humour, I agree.

If you are talking about posters, I did not like them when I was young, and I am not going to like them now, 40 years later.

PS. The generation conflict in the sixties had nothing to do with age.

Thank you for reminding me how old I am and how much I enjoyed the old films in a language that I can understand.

billd766 Hope this brings back memories

This Lady came to my school and played for 3 hrs without reading any music.

She was my inspiration, leading to me playing piano, but that's another story.

All done by one very talented person without any computer gimmickery at all.

Thanks for that link.

Must be the age factor.wink.png......or music was in the family.

In the 50's my mum played guitar and dad played steel guitar, live, on radio station 2GF in Grafton.

Dads' mum played piano, so a lot of music.

Much the same.Mum played piano and one of her sisters and her family all played an instrument whether it be a squeeze box, piano accordion, banjo, ukelele or a piano which was I think was called a player piano in which you put a roll in and set it going and it played it self.

When ever the families got together ithere was always music.I remember once that they asked me to sing Lady of Spain which I think was by

Eddie Fisher and I not thinking started singing the wrong lyrics that I had learn't in the school yard.Didn't I cop it.
