LemanRus
Australian over 50. Visited Thailand in July for 15 days. Was issued a tourist visa at port of entry valid for 30 days. Planning to visit again in October for 30 days. Will I go through the same process (ie. visa on arrival) or do I need to apply prior to arriving? Assistance much appreciated. forgetit
Same process (tourist visa exemption), visa on arrival is something different. but for you, just hop on the plane and go to immigration once in thailand the list for eligible countries is here: http://immigration.g...se.php?page=voa (australia is still on the list) Edited July 29, 2012 by forgetit
lopburi3
You obtained a visa exempt entry for 30 days rather than a visa so you will get another on next visit if you wish to stay that period of time or less. You should get a visa if you plan to stay longer than 30 days and/or do not have a ticket out within that period of time as airline may not allow boarding without visa with exit longer than 30 days.
