Can I Get Visa Extension Once Ive Overstayed My Visa?

I just realized I have overstayed my visa by 3 days. I am in Koh Chang and am planning to go to the immigration office in Leam Ngob tomorrow to sort it out. Is there any chance they will allow my to pay my fine and get a visa extension on my 60 day tourist visa?

Or am I better off going to the Cambodia border and paying my fine on and then re-entering and getting the 15 day entry? Thanks.

Go to immigration and ask, they can only say no.

I can't imagine they would be that bothered ...... unless you have previously done it.

With a few day overstay it is normally not a problem to just pay the fine and get the extension.

Ok thanks. I went today and it was no problem. 2,000 baht fine and they gave me the 30 day extension.
