smedly
Just looking a few pointers before I head off, going from Pattaya through Trat and Koh Kong, had to do a border run so I thought I'd spend some time touring Cambodia. Taking green book so no issues there, is there a charge for a bike going across the border ? Any tips would be much appriciated
NomadJoe
Shouldn't be a charge, but the touts may try one on. They swarm the boarder at Koh Kong. Be careful on the "new" road to Sihanoukville. Badly damaged already. Lots of potholes, some the size of VW's. Also wouldn't want to ride that road alone, certainly not at night. I will be interested to hear how it goes. I may do this trip in the future. you may want to read these: http://www.gt-rider.com/thailand-motorcycle-forum/showthread.php/36805-Riding-into-Cambodia-with-a-Thai-registered-bike-under-someone-else http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=495503
