Raid of Karaoke Bar in Sattahip owned by Police Vehicle Recovery Agent

SATTAHIP:--A Vehicle Recovery Agent working for Sattahip Police was arrested in the early hours of Saturday accused of operating a Karaoke Bar using foreign nationals without work permits to act as hostesses.

Two of them were found to be under the age of 18. Police from Region 2 led by Police Major General Komson, Deputy Police Commissioner conducted a raid of the Full Moon Karaoke Bar and detained six Laos Nationals aged between 15 and 24. All had passports but did not have work permits.

The owner of the business, Khun Ritirong aged 24 was also arrested and all arrestees were taken to Sattahip Police station. The foreign workers are expected to be deported to Laos and the owner of the business will be charged over the raid. Curiously the Police involved in the raid include senior officers from Nakhon Naiyok Province which is situated within Region 2.
