Thai Holidays 2012

Featured Replies

rolleyes.gif I've posted this before...but i guess it's worth posting again

On the "General Topics" subforum there is a pinned item on Thai holidays 2012.

The holidays in red are Thai national holidays and most if not all government offices...including immigration...will be closed.

So if you're planning or required to be at immigration on or close to one of those listed days, check on that calender first so to avoid any possible problems at immigration.

Here's the holiday dates for the rest of 2012

----------------------

2 August (Thur) Asalha Bucha (Puja) Day National Holiday

3 August (Fri) Wan Khao Phansa Beginning of Buddhist Lent

12August (Sun) H.M. The Queen's Birthday, Mother's Day National Holiday

13 August (Mon) H.M. The Queen's Birthday Substitution

24 September (Mon) Mahidol Day

30 October (Tue) Wan Awk Phansa End of Buddhist Lent

23 October (Tue) King Chulaongkorn Day National Holiday

27-29 November (Tue-Thur) Loy Krathong

5 December (Wed) H.M. The King's Birthday National Holiday

10 December (Mon) Constitution Day

31 December (Mon) New Year's Eve National Holiday
