whistleblower
Ok just bought my 5th oven glove in as many weeks. Still burnt my fingers today whilst cooking Sunday lunch. 2 beers for anyone who can guide me to a shop that actually sells heat proof oven gloves! arthurwait
Yes I know some. They are at the airport. Once at the airport you board a plane where not everything sold in the shops is cheap shit. The better quality oven gloves at these shops may actually be cheaper as there the shops don't over-inflate their prices of the cheap shit because they sell oooo western stuff. cdnvic
Telling people where you live will help narrow down your search to a specific area of this 200,000 sq/mile country
lazygourmet
Why on earth people are using gloves in a kitchen? These are obsolete... and might even be able to make you look stupid by wearing them. Just fold a thick dishcloth... and that's it. By the way you will never find professional quality oven gloves; because there is no chef on this planet who is using those. bkkjames
LG is correct - just be quick about it and have a place to set it down fairly fast before the heat goes through the towel.

transam
Welding gloves. You jest but l was thinking the same. The big DIY stores sell pig skin gloves for using angle grinders etc and are perfect for handling hot stuff, noooo, not your lady.
