Highway 3 is no problem. I use that route regularly on my bike. Not sure about Highway 9 though.

If coming from Samut, I think the best route would be to go on the Bang Na Trat in Bangkok and then onto 3.

you can use highway 9 with your bike, no problems.

As a bike, you need yo use the frontage road still if your bike is fast, you can use the highway and police do not care. If not, frontage road is only option.

But, be careful on one junction - after Bang Kae - as you might end up at the tolls! - and laughing policemen as they really enjoy if you end up at the tolls on your bikeclap2.gif

it happened to me once but they did not fine me as they were laughing all the time no time for them to write a ticket. biggrin.png

They allowed me - with police escort of course - to use the tollway until the first exit!
