August 14, 201214 yr Hi everyone, Does anyone know where I could buy a reasonably-priced French press for coffee in silom or close by? I'll only be here 24 hours and then off somewhere that doesn't have them. TT
August 14, 201214 yr It may be a little pricey - but you can try one of the many Starbucks and also there is a Verasu on Silom - it is in the newly renovated white building - I don't know the building name but there is a True coffeshop and Citibank in the same building - If you walk away from Lumphini Park on Silom and pass the McDonald's - it is located in the second building on the left. Silom Center is still closed until October -
August 14, 201214 yr Verasu on wireless around the corner has it but I imagine they wont be a cheap as those found at your local S-Bucks?
August 14, 201214 yr Tops Market 306 Silom Road also carries them, probably cheaper than the coffee shops.
August 14, 201214 yr I got my French Press at ROBINSON Ratchada. (no name) Starbucks Coffee shops have original bodum products, which are much better.
August 14, 201214 yr Foodland Suk Soi 5 had them last time I needed one (been a while, they don't wear much)
August 14, 201214 yr The Bodium brand at Starbucks are the best available...Try Silom Center as well...Bodium are sold in all the department stores like Robinsons and Central
August 15, 201214 yr Try Robinsons near BTS Sapha Thaksin. Verasu is in basement of United Centre Building on Silom Road near junction with Soi Pipat.
October 29, 201213 yr Does anyone know where to get one of these without paying the bloated Starbucks price - Baht1950?
October 30, 201213 yr Does anyone know where to get one of these without paying the bloated Starbucks price - Baht1950? the first cost 1350 at doi chaang shopping online ( maybe even at their showroom) the second cost 800 baht at Bluekoff Both shops are in Bangkok.
December 13, 201213 yr I bought what was labelled 'teapot' in Buriram Makro discretely hidden away on a bottom shelf. About ฿500.- and makes excellent coffee a half liter at a time.
December 13, 201213 yr Forget Starbucks everything is over priced in Starbucks. I found a good one in Robinson, less that half the price of Starbucks.
