January 22, 200620 yr I will be in Bangkok at the beginning of April. Can you tell me anything about the weekend market? Is it worth visiting? I can find some information at different websites but I would like people's opinions on the market. Thank you very much. L

L Well, April is one of the hottest months in Thailand and JJ Market is real crowded. Hope you're not too tall as it can be a hassle getting through the 'lanes' but they do have a lot of stuff. Myself, I preferred the old Sanam Luang that's not around anymore. Watch out for the pickpockets there...

L Well I guess it is the most hottest time to visit thailand but it nice tho. it's depend on what you are looking for. The price is not that cheap compare with buying from Mall but there are a lot of second hand stuff everything to can find at JJ market The weather is supper hot
January 23, 200620 yr Its worth a visit, i always take tourists there when they come to Thailand - i dont like it myself as its too crowded some days. I always get there by 8.30 in the morning and leave by 11 or 12.
January 23, 200620 yr I like to go there when it's hot to check out the hot chicks but not for any other reason
January 24, 200620 yr It is certainly worth a visit - just for the chance ot get lost in it - as it is so massive!!! I loved just looking around - it is certainly interesting if nothing else!! I was a bit freaked out by some of the animal sections but well I was expecting it. Some of the stuff, especially the furniture and crafts are way over priced but really I have never came accross anything like it and I have been to some markets in my time!
January 25, 200620 yr go early by Skytrain , but it will still be hot dring lots of water have a place and time to meet , you will get lost Its lots of fun if you are not looking for anything specific, BD
January 25, 200620 yr Its well worth a visit! Yes, use the Skytrain or, even better, go via the Subway & get off at Kamphaengphet Station and exit directly into the Market !
January 26, 200620 yr Dont get off the subway at Chatuchak Park, stay on and get off at Kampheangphet as the poster above says, it is right in the market.
