I'm just going to study Thai, cooking, Muay Thai, Meditation, plus chill out and have a good time while I build my online business.

Good luck in your new adventure, been 18 months for me now and still no regrets.....except one (have struggled learning Thai).

So.........don't wait until January, start now and try and make it fun for yourself.

That's about my only advice apart from of course........enjoy yourself.

I think some here would kill for the status of second class citizen if it were official . Good luck, and if you socialise with Thais and don`t spend too much time in the farang ghettoes the language isn`t difficult to pick up.

What I love most about Thailand besides my dear wife, great food, great exchange rate, smiling happy folks, is the fact that in our village people know their neighbours and intermingle with them. Where Im from in Australia this seems to have disappeared and its kinda sad.
