It's been a while since I bothered with UBC but now it has a fancy new interface with a record option (just like they have in proper countries) I was wondering what the cost of getting a new box/dish is nowadays.

Anyone got recent knowledge of this?

Deposit for a box ordered at Big C on Samui - between 3,000 and 5,000 baht. (Katoey or the other guy. The katoey was cheaper.)

Deposit for a box ordered through Bangkok - 2,200 baht.

Monthly rates are about the same - but Bangkok office lies a lot less often

I suggest that you order from Bangkok - they still use the local engineers and less(none) scams.

Gold about 1,569 per month

Plat about 2,155 baht per month

If you only want Knowledge package - I can give you a box - I have 6 of them.

Well I'll doublecheck what my mate has got - his UBC box has a menu with record, and a 24-hour program schedule you can watch stuff from yesterday . . .

Both of the guys / girls at the Big C True office ... are next to useless.... the katoey better I would agree... (for info at least, not sure about anything else.... )

I would go to the True stall at Tesco... they seem to make more sense talking about things... or perhaps even the Nathon office for True...

But also check to see what figure PSI in Chawang come up with....
