Featured Replies

Hey guys! I'm going to Thailand for about 3 months. Thinking about Chaing Mai for 1 month. Maybe Khon Kaen krabi, would like Puket but I might run out of cash that week lol any advice. The less tourist the better. I do love beach area, but I know it's pricey Khob khoon khrap

go go tony silly! whatever sizzles your shmizzle.really.

Not much in Khon Kean, Phuket is expensive , try Samui , Lamai area the price is alot cheaper there there's some good info the the Samui Forum, as for avoiding tourists there everywere,

Maha Sarakham - no tourists there. Maybe a few days in Samut Prakan, followed by Chumporn in sandfly season.

I mean, really, what is it in Thailand that draws people, who otherwise have no clue why they are coming?

Many places have no tourists at all.

Other than KK, every place you listed is packed with tourists. Plenty of places near the beach that are not touristy. But hard to get to and hard to get around unless you know a bit of Thai.

A few that come to mind are Khanom and Ban Kruit. Nakhon si Thamarat has some nice beaches also. Some nice places South of Rayong and down in Chantaburi.
