mean while other memebers of Her majesty's forces are out dodeing IDE's and some not so lucky as to dodge. Then there's th eguys getting redundancy notices whilst in Afghanistan. Harry decides he wants to fly an Apache, so its of to Arizona for his live firing mission at tax payers expense of hundreds of thousands, training he will never use, he wanted a new toy. Bet the guys in helman provence think Captain Harry's a great bloke, in a Suite in a Vegas Hotel,, mean while his security guys have there ass in a sling. Complete and utter t**t take the mega bucks as a royal but dont want the baggage of behaving like one. Any other Captain in his position would probably get busted. Suprisngly Prince Harry came top of his class in Apache helicoper training, head fkd just like his mum and and step dad.

Why do you say he will never use his training as an Apache pilot?

He actually wants to go back to Afghanistan with his unit and do the job he was trained for.

When you are a military pilot very few rules are bent for you and if you come third on a course then you are third.

Many other officers behave like this IN their time off, IN privacy but his privacy was destroyed by a "so called" friend.

Most members of the Royal family have served in the military including the Queen back during WW2.

I assume that you were in the military as well and know all about this.

It is not his fault that members of the armed forces are being made redundant, and as for dodging mines, bullets and IEDs you do realise that he has already served in Afghanistan and was only recalled because the newpapers in the UK claimed that the public had "the right to know" about it and never mind the security risks involved, the same reason given by the Sun for printing the photos of this incident.

Strangely enough only the Sun in the UK printed the photos, so much for their part of self regulation of the press.

Unfortunately there are enough members of the public that do not understand the responsibilities of a self-regulated press.

I don't see that there is any more justification for publishing these pictures than for publishing the gory accident pictures that the British press refrains from, while others (for example Thailand) do not. WHile the story may be newsworthy, and in the public interest, we don't actually need to see what Prince Harold's naked body looks like, nor what a Las Vegas stripper looks like. Were there some dispute (for example, were the Palace to deny that the event had taken place) then the pictures would become newsworthy. Or were a rumour to be circulated that the stripper was second-class in the looks department.

The press in free countries are reporting Harry lost $50 milion playing poker! My gosh is that true?

You can't believe everything you read on the internet.

From http://weeklyworldnews.com/headlines/50836/prince-harry-loses-50-milliion-in-vegas/

" But the Las Vegas pros (i.e. sharks), who were also naked with Harry, took him for $50 million."

From http://www.metro.co.uk/news/909580-prince-harry-joked-he-would-kick-las-vegas-casino-workers-head-in

"Harry spent about $120 (£75) without winning but he and his friends ‘were pretty clueless’ around the gaming table"

That's why I asked.

I wasn't debating the claim, I was debating the suggestion that the Weekly World News was the "press in free countries"

You may be better sticking to the following reliable sources for news:

Young , free , single and a prince of England ? , people are only jealous that complain !

I'm not complaining, I'm not British so I don't care about his antics, but I am supremely jealous. What a life, just about the luckiest guy in the world.

Thick as <deleted> too.

"Reports that billionaire hotel developer Steve Wynn picked up the tab for Prince Harry's stay last week lend credence to scuttlebutt that he's unhappy with his security team.

And that may be putting it mildly.

According to a source, the Prince Harry scandal could get much worse.

"Something pretty gigantic" is involved, the source said, something more serious than "strip billiards" at one of Wynn's properties."

Well his great uncle ran off with an American rather than be King. Not much respect for the throne in the family eh?

Sexual craving is the cause of many, many problems. If the enabler can't handle himself correctly it can lead to many failed situations, hurting many, many people.

I thought that Clint Eastwood was 'Dirty Harry' not the third in line for the British Throne.

And I thought 'Randy Andy' was the name of that naff boy who used to live down the street from me.

to parts of the undepriveleged world , where poverty and depression prevail.

His father was a naval officer. His father was also an adulterer so perhaps his father isn't best suited to giving Harry 'a good talking to' in any way at all.

I wouldn't mind, but its not his own money !

IMHO the Royal Family are an absolute anachronism - if they won't go quietly (and I doubt they will) then the Russians knew how to deal with people like this circa 1918.

I'd be very careful expressing such opinions, lest they got takenout of context.

The Dutch, the Spanish, and others, seem fairly happy with their Royal Families.

Hold on, so now his father wasn't the Prince of Wales (Charles) so who was this father who was an army officer ? Does Harry know this ?

As are the British. Remember all the hoopla when HM the Queen celebrated her centennial on the throne? I bet they EVEN love the scandals once in a while, deep down inside. Keep in mind it wasn't THAT long ago that Prince Charles was in the middle of a scandal himself, and he too has displayed less than perfect understanding of the media.

It could have been a lot worse. It could have happened in Thailand and catapulted all our favourite tabloids into world fame (God forbid!). If he was caught on camera, I think it would have been more than billiards they would have been playing.

Still, he would have to think of a better excuse than Apache helo. training, don't think that is available here...................thumbsup.gif
