Hi everyone,

I just have a quick question,. My girlfriend from malaysia got a two month tourist visa for free from the thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Does anyone know if she can also get her visa extended at the immigration office (in Chiang Mai or Bangkok) and if this extension will also be without cost?

The nationals of some countries can get the visa free of charge, but all have to pay the regular fee of 1,900 Baht for the extension of stay.
