Featured Replies

Hello!

can someone explain me,the rules of study,on univercity in thailand?

when iam not a student, can everybody come and study everything in thailand,or how the univercity will handle this for foreign people?

thanks for information!

It depends on the university.

In terms of an education visa, you can study anything, down to Thai language, Thai dancing or Muay Thai boxing.

To the OP, give some more / specific information, what's your aiming for etc., and you'll probably get some specific and valuable answers.

I seem to recall that recently though you actually had to be studying something (that means attending the courses) to get the student visa. You don't need a degree to study for a degree, but each university will have certain entrance standards though. That would be the least of your problems though is the curriculum is taught in Thai.

All of the larger universities such as Chula, Thammasat, Mahidol, Chiang Mai University and Khon Kaen University plus many of the less famous ones offer 'international' curricula where the language of instruction is in English but I've heard that only a precious few follow through with that promise 100%. Mind you, plenty of students from neighbouring countries and China come and study in the international colleges so it can't be that difficult for non-Thais.

Anyone know if my wife was correct that Burupha have foreign students and do a international school ? As in a school not university as well ?
