GF

What is the model number and the build year of your Intruder?

I checked with our part system and basically you could only have a Suzuki VS750GLPM Intruder from 1988 up to 1991.

The original Suzuki Part number for the ignition coil was 33420-38A10 and it was replaced in by part 33420-38A11.

The same ignition coil was also used on the following Suzuki motorcycles VS750GLPM (from 1988 to 1991), VS800GLV (from 1992 to 1997), VS800GL (from 1998 to 2005) TL1000S (from 1997 to 2001), TL1000R (from 1998 to 2003)

Officially the Suzuki VS750 ignition coil was/is manufactured by Denso and if you can get a DENSO 129700 you have basically the same ignition coil. You could try to contact

Denso Thailand

Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate

700/87 Moo 1, Bangna-Trad Rd., KM.57,

T.Bankao, A.Panthong,

Chonburi 20160

Tel. 038-214649 or 038-214651

But I never got a positive result, so not spent to much energy on it, but you not out of luck...

Before Kawasaki started to sell the KLX250 in Thailand they sold the KLX300 and the Kawasaki KLX300 uses the same Denso ignition coil as your Suzuki VS750 Intruder... But you need to be careful with Kawasaki Thailand they apparently have two ignition coils for the KLX300 so you best contact one of the authorized part centers in Bangkok and show them the original Suzuki part (they will know what you need).

I have sort of have a VS800 Intruder, well the engine is but I believe the frame is a 750. Mind you the engine also has the heads and clutch of a VX800. I only mention this as these bikes are not easy for parts like say a Honda Steed. One mechanic I used did source some parts locally, but realistically it is get it off EBay for second hand or I get new parts like gaskets from Poweesportsplus although there are others.

I always get parts shipped by mail and not couriers and was only ever hit up a few hundred baht on a replacement cylinder, everything has always arrived.

Found your ignition coil in Thailand and available, Yamaha Thailand has them article number 4JP-82310-00. Officially it's the ignition coil of a Yamaha PW50.

Attached a printout from the Yamaha part center... to make it easier for you to order them at a Yamaha parts center

Hi Richard and Rancid, thanks a lot for ur answers,

its about from 1990

found out now,the coil seem to be ok.

Big problem is the electric wireshit(sorry).

many cables sligtly damaged....

Actually the biggest prob is the carburetors,

gasoline is running out from the plastictube, which should normally be the airvalve(sorry, dont know the special name)from carburetor 1, when i turn the engine up, it stops.

Is there any bike garage, which has the knowledge to adjust the swimmers and the carbs??

(Today, i was near to burn it up.............)

Regards

GF

Success!!!!!

I finally ended up in Phitsanulok(arriving on 1 working cylinder),and asked me through the city.

They lead me to a Big Bike Repair Shop on Soi Sanam Bin.

The guys there did a great job, they really have a wide knowledge, working correct and clean, and at fair Thaiprices.

End of the story, my Intruder is now running perfect and makes a lot of fun.

I can really recommend this Shop for Big Bikes.

Thanks again.

Pleased to see you got it sorted out, I had a lot less luck in CM, bike currently at its 4th mechanic who is showing promise. Actually did a rebuild myself, but had a shop split the case as there was a stuffed bolt. As didn't see them strip the gears I put one in the wrong way (so the new guy tells me) from the plastic bag of assorted cogs I was given back, it felt wrong while hand cranking hence went in search again.

If all works out I'll post his details in case there are others up here in need of someone actually competent.
