I never needed set hobbies, meetup, clubs etc where I'm from to meet people. In fact, meeting people in spontaneous everyday situations has always worked best for me. More structure may work better here, but I can't see why that would be the case. I am from the USA, Santa Cruz, CA. I came to Pattaya pretty much because it was an easy move, I liked the housing options and it was cheaper then living on an island or Bangkok. The location is not as important to me as the people. I can live anywhere. That's changing though. I may need to move around if the scene is that different. Maybe Phuket or Koh Samui is more the scene I am looking for in that it may have a younger vibe. I'm not ready to sit in a chair and "retire". I'm pretty outgoing, but have always associated with a younger crowd in general. I lived in Santa Cruz, CA which is a college town and rarely associated with guys my age. In fact, most of my friends and associates were college age. I have a young mindset, probably 30's, though I am much older, late 50's. I don't see that as a problem. Old guys bobbing up and down in the pool is not my scene, but I would be down for a beach party, swimming laps or ocean time. Yes, that's exactly what I am looking for. The more free sex the better. I'm not against people that want to pay for it, I just feel like it should be an option and not the rule.
