The Mangpong chain of stores are ok , also Boomerang coming up in second place , for both Thai and Western movies on Blu-ray . They are in most of the large shopping places .

Soundman - Mangpong and Boomerang are both "Jing" - sell the real deal.

My vote is for Boomerang. Thdy have a pretty good website where you can order online for delivery in Thailand, and they use the "Pay At Post" system so that you can collect them and pay at your local post office when they arrive. Even though i live in BKK and visit the shops in Central Lad Prao and Fortune almost every time I am there, i have used the website and it is excellent service. Quite often there are titles on the website that I didn't see "in stock / on the shelf" at the store. Would be truly ideal for the guys who live up-country.

Thanks so much for that info!! wai.gif I would have never known! .... and mail order, too??? Now this is a company that is filling a sorely needed niche .... next, lets bring on some competition to reduce the price (by half!) to the consumer - I have a list of 38 Blu-ray movies that I am looking to stock up on upon my next visit to BKK!

I have been using Boomerang for years now and found them to be very fine with an excellent return policy. Once, I returned DVD's that I thought were bad to find out that my player had worn out. It had seemed that my disks were bad and they had accepted my returned disk for replacement with no qualms whatsoever.

I have used Mangpong but not as much but they have had good quality along with Boomerang.

Just got back from my Blu-ray / DVD shopping spree at Fortunetown in BKK. They have all the titles there and even those hard to find Thai Ligae and Lakorn discs for the Ms.!
