Details About Moo Ban (Housing Area) On Huay Tung Thao Lake Road

Wondering if anyone on TV lives at the Moo Ban (Housing Area) on Huay Tung Thao Lake Road.

It's located on the left approx 1/2 km before the entrance to the Huay Tung Thao Lake / Park.

We went there today and drove around. Great location if you like hiking, biking or being near the lake.

It had a lot of empty houses left over from when they built it a year or so ago.

However, NO rental signs or anything like that.

Could not find an office... only the security shack and they had no idea what we were asking about.... i.e. details on houses to rent or where is the office.

They had a phone number we called 089-704-4146 however they spoke no english.

Hoping someone here might have some details about the houses if they are for rent and how much.

Would make for a nice weekend getaway.

It's for government employees so you probably don't qualify.

The name is Moo Ban Thanarak, the land belong to The Treasury Department , this building project have 140 units and all sold out(only 16 units that the Treasury take back with qualify of buyer reason).

Greenside is right, only government employee can buy and lease that propertie and the price was 2.2 m. baht for 2 floors 3 beds 2 baths, approx. 1m.baht for 1 floor 2 beds 1bath, lease 30 years with renew another 30 years, after 5 years leased the owner can sell their right to other people but last year the project have some problem about construction company (about finance).

I have cycled past many times and it has great views and location. Like so many estates though it seems empty and devoid of life which is a negative for me.
