SumetCycle Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Here are some pics of the new Zoomer-X. I'll have one at the shop on Saturday if anyone wants to come by and have a look. Thanks. Brian
Richard-BKK Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Nice scoot, but with 108cc it's safe to say that the Tiger Streetbomber 150 will be the more powerful... 2
Popular Post SumetCycle Posted September 6, 2012 Author Popular Post Posted September 6, 2012 ....and a lot less reliable. 3
NomadJoe Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 "Digital Transistorized" "Up side down shock up." lol. The skateboard compartment will come in handy.
RED21 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 ....and a lot less reliable. ...and uglier. Case in point: Street Bomber Zoomer X The Original Zoomer The Street Bomber also looks a bit too stretched out in the rear, imagine going through pothole-filled streets with something like that.
JonnyF Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I quite like the look of this, I prefered the dual headlights of the old one but other than that it looks good. I doubt I'll buy one but out of interest does anyone know how much it will be ?
BSJ Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Another scooter designed and built by a committee of visually and mentally handicapped people. 1
KRS1 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 looks like a fun little machine to drive home drunk on. 2

Not sure if that is the official MSRP though.
blackpanda Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 http://powersports.honda.com/2012/ruckus.aspx I just hope it's cheaper then the US version Ruckus. $2500(75,000 baht) I am interested in this little machine.
CMX Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 It will be interesting to find out the suggested price.
dave_boo Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 It will be interesting to find out the suggested price. Agreed. For a replacement to the aging Airblade as long as it is able to get me up to ~40 km/h (no faster needed as it will blow out my ciggy) and down to the village's coffee shop I would be super interested in it...especially since I am a sucker for that shade of yellow.
wantan Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Seems Honda is releasing another winner soon. I like the styling of the Zoomer-X too. But the most important question is still open: Does it have a hook for shopping bags? 1
KRS1 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 interesting to finally see Honda come out with something original, seems like they've been on a copying spree lately.
Nebula Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 It will be interesting to find out the suggested price. 51000 baht
CMX Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 My problem is that I got my new Click-i 125 (Esp), the Forward with alloys, for 52K. Brian's speculation about 51K aside, what do I get with this new bike that would make me like it more (yellow aside)?

Brian's speculation about 51K aside, what do I get with this new bike that would make me like it more (yellow aside)? I guess its just a bit different to the Click, Mio etc. Looks quite funky, 51k is a good price and I like the yellow as well.
KRS1 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Nice scoot, but with 108cc it's safe to say that the Tiger Streetbomber 150 will be the more powerful... not neccessarilly... the Tiger Boxer 250 could barely even keep up with a CBR 150.
KRS1 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) It also comes in all black as well as white. The wheels are 12 inch compared to 14 inches on the Click. The Zoomer also weighs 10 kilos less. http://www.zoomer-x.com/product This bike is going to be a hit http://www.zoomer-x.com/accessories Edited September 8, 2012 by KRS1
BirdsandBooze Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Tiger rep at BKK MC show said Street Bomber has around 12hp. I've no idea what a watercooled Honda 110 engine makes but if the Zoomer is lightweight it should be fairly zippy. 1
mjj Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) I went to see one today. Very cool. Trouble is 6 months ago I bought the wife a Suzuki Jelato and it seems silly to sell that to buy this. But then again, it was very cool. How much would I get for the Suzy? BigBikeBKK Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Me likey! Brian, does SumetCycle offer test rides? I've been looking for a cheap little scoot for local use.
SumetCycle Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 We are thinking of getting one to use for test rides. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow. It's a great looking scoot. It kind of has a concept bike look to it. I'm dying to take it for a spin myself. Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Thaivisa Connect App
William Osborne Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 shame it doesn't come in more cubes.. 110 cc , waste of time :/ 1
BigBikeBKK Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 shame it doesn't come in more cubes.. 110 cc , waste of time :/ Perfect for many of us who are looking for a cheap little scoot to use for short hops in the neighborhood. Not everyone needs 1000cc's to ride to their local 7-11 ya know 1

William Osborne Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 For sure, i would buy one if it was 135cc.... my Mrs has a Fiano or something, not what cc it is but is dead as duck compared to my Nuovo which is fine for buzzing about.... What is that other odd looking Yamaha, anyone know what cc that is, i might buy one if it is 135cc
