Brazilian Chonburi FC Reserve Player arrested after road crash in Chonburi

CHONBURI:--A Brazilian reserve player at Chonburi FC was arrested on Wednesday Morning close to their stadium after he was involved in a road accident which left a motorbike driver with head injuries.

Police and rescue services were called to the scene of the accident in Chonburi City and detained Mr. Don Carlo Santos aged 20 who was reportedly driving a White Toyota Vios which sustained front-end damage during the collision with the motorbike of Khun Nachar who was rushed to Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Mr. Santos was returning to Chonburi after spending the previous night in Pattaya, with his girlfriend, Khun Supatra who spoke on his behalf at the Police Station where he was taken to. He claimed to be driving normally when the bike and its driver came out from a side road as his car approached.
