saengsureeya
When DMK was BKK, or when Don Muang was Bangkok's only international airport, the price was approx. THB 800 to Pattaya o/w. This price didn't change when BKK (Suvarnabuhmi) became Bangkok's first Int'l Airport. You can bet, that the taxi-fare will increase with at least 25%.........longer distance and more toll to pay. Meter taxi's now charge 1400Bt+ from teh new(er) BKK airport. I remember those good old days when there was less traffic and little hassel getting to pattaya I also remember fuel being about 20 Bt a lt and now over 40 for the same thing. That is why the independant comany I use is such a good deal
