HI I previously posted another topic regarding 4 different 1.2L cars, but seems that my gf is currently interested in this 2 as well. Like both and can't decide on which to get. The Ford Fiesta cost about 574000 while the Mazda2 cost 575000, so price are pretty much the same. The Mazda2 engine is 1.5L while the ford is only 1.4L (I am only looking at this particular model), so Mazda seems to have a more powerful engine. Read some reviews though and noticed that Mazda 2 seems to be a pretty noisy car as it is really light, not sure about Fiesta though. In a dilemma now, wondering which to buy... crying.gif

mazda 2, but in MT form. Only 103 HP, so the manual helps a lot with performance, and the gear change is nice. Has twin airbags and abs....sorry that's the sports hatchback model.

Ok.. So it seems that my girlfriend is concurrently making a booking with both ford and mazda. She said would take whichever that arrive first, which I think would be the ford. She is booking the Ford Fiesta 1.5L Sport Powershift and the Mazda 2 Elegance Spirit. It seems that Seems that at 50000 baht more Ford includes more features and also 6 gears as compared to Mazda 4 gears. And theres also the power shift in Ford which makes it really smooth to drive. Car whilst I would personally prefer the Ford over Mazda, the body looks better as well. However, after reading a some other comments it seems that the ford has some really bad issue regarding their service and maintenance. How does this compare to the Mazda's service? Is it really that bad??

I read a review that said the power shift was very jerky rather than smooth... will try to dig it up. Something to do with the gearbox not being built for the engine size and Ford scrambling to bring in a 1.5 for the rebate seeking customers.
