Can anyone recommend from personal experience any Bangkok Nightclubs Disco's worth taking a look at during the week, including if possible:

What times to go?

The audience they attract "predominantly"

Costs of entrance fee? Drinks.

And any other related suggestions for a single guy not into "the in your face scene"

Bed Supperclub on suk 11 on a thursday is good if you like house music, tech house and techno.... they get lots of superstar european djs

500B in if you facebook the guy first..... otherwise more on the door

gets a trendy crowd in,,,,,, drinks are pricey but it is a good club

Thanks for the reply, from what I've seen so far its all been a bit of a hit and miss affair i.e good club bad music, good music bad atmosphere, good atmosphere uber supercool expensive. What time is best to get there?

give some more info about what you want, are you going alone? budget, etc

Spacedcowboy.. if you are at Checkinn this Saturday night 22Sep 9pm I will be putting on Jugs of Heineken for any Thai Visas for an hour @199B who want to drink with me as part of what is an informal catchup - some are doing an early recce before the party.. I have reserved the high steel table and bar chairs on the left side opposite the Bar. We can then discuss music and other things - hope you can make it and maybe meet some of the regular TVs there . Yeah, Bed Supperclub's definitely popular. Personally, I have no time for the surfeit of Eurozone ponces, poseurs and ever-so-slightly-more-upscale Thai prostitutes the place seems to attract.

Having said that, there are very rare occasions, when the calibre of the guest DJ is such that I'm willing to endure extended exposure to the afore-mentioned clowns in return for a high quality set on par with what you'd get in Ibiza or London. The prices are reasonable for the area and the joint is very professionally run/managed.

For somewhere that consistently has good music and good people, try Tapas Bar on Silom soi 4. Utterly whore-free and a well-balanced, musically-knowledgeable foreign/Thai crowd there to party hard but tastefully. Closes at 3am or something like that.

Ahh! Yes, You've hit the nail on the head HardenedSoul I'll give your suggestions Tapas Bar a look,

I'm with HardenedSoul regarding Bed and their fickle air-kissing patrons, but I too have on occasion visited if a particularly reputable DJ was playing (LTJ Bukem being the last time).

I recently had a good night at Glow on Sukhumvit soi 23 so that could worth a try, and as already mentioned Tapas is always good. Easily the best club here IMO.
