The car driver, appeared heavily intoxicated according to Police, and by his own admission, he became drowsy as he travelled home after a night out with friends and fell asleep for a split second which was enough time for his vehicle to leave the main carriageway and come to rest inside the front of the shop, causing more than 100,000 Baht’s worth of damage.

so the guy concerned went off the road because he was "sleepy" and not because he was pished?...who writes these articles ?, but the best part...

"We understand the driver has class 1 insurance which will pay for the damage to the shop and to the vehicle. The driver was not arrested by Police"

So not even charged with drinking and driving...way to go Pattaya BiB...whistling.gif and doesnt the insurance typically not pay out if you are caught drinking and driving in cases likes this ?
