Consider the case of some Middle Eastern and North African nations. Various Islamist parties and/or presidents, over the years, have tried to reach power via elections. Some have succeeded, some not. The succeding ones always presented themselves as 'moderate Islamic parties' initially, and were usually supported by Islamist-appeasing Western liberals and leftists (for a variety of reasons). In the end, it was clearly seen that, once brought into political power, there can be no (or almost no) Islamic movement that is truly moderate. They cause a variety of bad stuff, and the group of people most affected in a bad way are sadly almost always women. -

The fact that Trump won is acknowledged by all Dems. They don't make up ridiculous conspiracy theories about imaginary voter fraud. We don't hear Kamala or other top politicians continuously whining that elections have been stolen. Trump won and it does not change the fact that Trump and Trumpers have refused to face reality and admit he lost in 2020, and have been whining about it for 4 years (and still are)! Visa on Arrival refused - what is the best way to re-enter Thailand?
I did not get a tourist visa. Some cursory research on Youtube quickly showed that immigration officers would just again pull the "you lived here too long and you're not a tourist card" and that tourist visa would have been useless. With the gracious, generous help of another forum member I was able to enter LOS legally anyway. I will follow the advice to get a retirement visa.- 1
