I have uploaded the same animated gif picture to my avatar, but it doesn't seem to work.First I tried copy and paste the url, later when I read a thread regarding the same issue on this forum. I copied the picture to my computer as advised and uploaded it.

Result the same.

Like we need more flashing stuff on the pages. Looks like animated gifs are turned off and it only shows the first frame.

Please don't change that..

I tried to resize it,both with Paint and Office , but when I save it as a GIF I loose all animation.

Got it resized now.Current is 100 x 95 pixels and size about 20Kb,still no animation in the avatar.

it can take up to a week to see a difference if your isp proxy has it cached.

What my isp proxy has to do with it?The file is now on Thaivisa servers, I would assume.

dont take my word for it, you are not the first with this issue. My personal favorite is this thread, bit if you search the forum for "avatar" you will see that this problem is not unique,

ISP's often cache things and someetimes it takes a few days to shake out try crt+f5, if that doesn't work try uploading something else. If you see the same old avatar of your brain, it is likely that there is caching at the isp level

BTW -- when i do a control + f5 you only show the generic avatar
