I like the new Kindle Paperwhite from Amazon gonna buy one for myself when i return to USA. but shipping to Thailand seems to be a pain in the toot. Anyplace in Phuket to buy an e reader over the counter?? Not sure if you can even buy Recent Thai script Novels is it possoble ? Anybody out there in Phuket purchase and use an e reader in Thailand ? September 24, 201213 yr I've got the kindle fire it great....great e reader but lets u watch movies look on the internet and is in colour. Don't know phuket well enough to advise where to find...maybe ask local phone shops where to find tablets?

September 24, 201213 yr I bought my Kindle on-line direct from Amazon. Delivered by international courier to my door in Patong in less than a week. Followed it's journey on-line and knew within about an hour when it would arrive. Completely safe and hassel free.

I know it was much cheaper to buy from Amazon, but they did add on transport and customs duty to the bill. The end result was prices were only slightly cheaper.
