PATTAYA:--Two Transsexuals and one man have been arrested and caught in possession of items allegedly stolen from a Pattaya business owner who was reportedly drugged and robbed by the group in a South Pattaya hotel room.

Police Colonel Tamanoon, the Pattaya Police Chief held a press conference at Midnight on Wednesday to confirm the arrest of Khun Piyawut aged 25, Khun Tanasorn aged 29 and Khun Pran aged 21. They were caught attempting to purchase items at a Mobile Phone Shop in Central Pattaya with a credit card in the name of a German, Mr. Uwe Hufschmidt, known to run a business in the Naklua area.

Shop staff alerted Police who arrested the three males who were then escorted to their room where a total of 107,712 Baht’s worth of clothing items and electronics goods were found which had all been purchased with the stolen card. During the press conference the two transsexuals stated they met Mr. Hufschmidt on Walking Street in South Pattaya on the night of 23rd September and agreed to accompany him to a hotel.

I don't think reporting the names hurts - after all - it is what it is. The victim likes ladyboys and the lady boy team are crims. The location - Pattaya -

Now just suppose that the German man is married, or that he doesn't want everyone to know he likes ladyboys ?

No respect for privacy that's what it is. He didn't commit any crime did he ?

Glad somebody finally caught on that the name didn't seem to match the card holders. It shouldn't take a genius to see that it isn't a Thai name on the card, which should be suspicious. I've got to assume that they went to at least a few shops to buy over 100,000 baht of merchandise. None of the other retailers questioned the situation?

(BTW, I've asked this question before, but have never noticed an answer: If these azzholes from Pattaya One News stick a camera in my face and attempt to get personal information about me, do I have any rights to stop them?)

I suppose you may have rights, but as most pictures of falangs are either dead men, accident victims, robbery victims, etc. then you would have a problem enforcing your rights. Let us know how you got on

... If these ####### from Pattaya One News stick a camera in my face and attempt to get personal information about me, do I have any rights to stop them?...

seems like if you're in a public venue everyone can take a picture of you, have no idea how it works at a police station, never paid attention if there is notice "no photos" or not - about personal infos, the matter is not "how they got it" (from the police?!) but rather "to publish them": i guess they are allowed to, otherwise there would be no more newspapers worldwide

Most of the newspapers around the world I have read don't publish the names of victims,

Very nice of Pattaya One to plaster not only the name of the victim of the crime, but also the approximate location of his business.

I must have overlooked the google map in the article smile.png

Well, if he is married he indeed committed a crime, and by the way I thought that p4p is not allowed by law in Thailand. Edited by jbrain

What a great question to pose to HM, the owner of PattayaOne. I recall a YouTube video when he was goose stepping around Walking Street and someone made a video. He looked like he was ready to soil his panties when he went off on the guy about taking a video of him. Maybe the ground rules are different when you control who is taking the pictures, the reports and you aren't the target.

Almost every Pattaya news report goes into unnecessary detail about the victims and the perps. Certainly not limited to HM's PattayaOne. Let us not forget Pattaya Daily News and its top notch team of reporters. There are many wannabes flocking in to fill a perceived void and they aren't any better. I can't help but wonder if any of the reporters and editors have ANY formal journalistic training.

Total invasion of privacy when giving too many details of the victims and "ALLEGED" perps. We don't need to know their address, sexual life style when not a direct factor to the crime and the details of the motor vehicles. It is common in many places for the license to be concealed in photos and videos. Here they are normal line items in the report. It is conceivable that this kind of info could lead to additional attacks, retallitation or other negative situations.

At least we are no longer seeing most of those gory and bloody pictures that were very common just few years ago.

LOL You just couldn't resist that snide little statement at the end, could you? Well, I don't go to Pattaya bars or use the services of the ladies-of-the-night, and my health seems quite good, so I don't expect to be in a compromising situation where some d**k head with a camera is going to exploit me for readership or their own perverse titillation, but I'm happy to see that your making a point of keeping the nasty aspect of this forum alive and well. Good for you. I'm sure that makes you feel like a better person.

I do remember that video. Thanks for reminding us.

HM used to be active on here, but I haven't noticed him around for a while. It would be very interesting to hear how he would defend his outrage at someone doing something similar to him. However, what he does is much much worse and extremely distasteful.

Disgusting !

It's no privacy respect ! The victims names are always shown to anyone in Thailand that's in Europe is protected by private life law. In Thailand no law protect you against that ! You just go to have sex with two cute transexuals who swindle you and your privacy is unveiled. What about his wife, he is a victim but will have problem of divorce or else maybe !

Well, it might not hurt you, but the German might object - I certainly would. What he does legally in private is not the world's business.

Ganz genau! He is the victim of a crime and now his personal and private behaviour becomes public knowledge.

Car rear ended me and the motorbike doing about 60 kms, after they got me up and to the side of the highway, news crew arrives and starts taking photos on a cell phone, broken shoulder, head injuries, the injuries and blood extended down my legs, I pulled my pants down for them to see. They stopped talking photos.
