Hi Guys,

Does anybody know that what Thai bank ATM cards incur no fee and/or exchange surcharge of 2/3% while withdrawing money from a foreign ATM or doing shopping? I've searched few and found that nearly all thai bank's ATM withdrawal in foreign country and currency incurs a Fee of 100 THB per transaction as well as a mark up of 2.5 % on the VISA/MASTER CARD exchange rate on total withdrawal amount.

Anybody have any other information on it? Is there any Thai Bank Card which doesn't charge the withdrawal fee, Or don't mark up on top of exchange rates?

AFAIR most bank cards worldwide charge you in a second or 3rd country and there are a small number of countries that won't allow you to use a bank debit/credit card from another country.

There are some bank cards which don't incur a fee and no mark up on exchange rates for foreign withdrawals, such as CharlesSchwab etc. But I guess none in Thailand.
